My name is Glen Sutherland

Glen Sutherland is a real estate investor from Wellesley, ON, where he lives with his wife and two terrific children. He started his investing journey purchasing 'buy and hold' rental real estate locally. After a lot of research, he learned of more favorable laws, lower property taxes, and lower cost of entry, south of the border. These factors make for greater ease of wealth creation.

These days, Glen is investing in the US by buying, renovating, refinancing to grow his rental real estate portfolio. He also hosts the Podcast and Youtube channel entitled,  "A Canadian Investing in the US", where he provides information and advice to investors interested in investing in both the US. He enjoys the privilege of sharing his knowledge with others.


Glen has been investing in the US for many years and has had many hurdles to overcome. He feels learning is ongoing and you can learn something with every project. He started with “Buy and Hold”. He has learned first hand, creative purchases, sales, as well as managing extensive renovations and many other ways to find passive income in the real estate world. Glen has found more favorable markets to build his portfolio and continues to find exciting new ways to shape his real estate company. Glen enjoys teaching others to build passive income in the USA where there are more diverse ways to spread your wealth farther.
